A native to Los Angeles, Belinda earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where she was a Certified Law Student for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office and Legal Extern for Loyola’s Collaborative Family Law Clinic.  Belinda graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a B.A. in Global Studies and a minor in Applied Developmental Psychology.  Belinda also participated in the Travel Study Program on Global Governance at New York University, School of Law.

Belinda commenced her family law career as a DV-Certified Legal Intern for 1736 Family Crisis Center, a nonprofit shelter and outpatient services for domestic violence survivors, runaway and homeless youth, and low income individuals.  She also clerked for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Family Violence Division and Major Crimes Division, which gave her the opportunity to address family law issues from a criminal law perspective.  Since Belinda’s admission to the California bar, she has exclusively practiced family law in the Los Angeles area.  Prior to joining the team in 2016, Belinda worked at the family law firm of Joy Stanley Law Corporation, where she assisted with multiple international custody disputes and complex family law matters.

Belinda is currently a volunteer attorney on the Pro Bono Panel for Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law.  In her free time, Belinda enjoys exploring the new restaurants in Los Angeles, skiing in the wintertime, and spending time with her friends and family.
