The partners of Shebby Hirashima LLP are honored to be recognized again by the Super Lawyers publication. For 2024, David Shebby was recognized by the Super Lawyers as among the top 100 lawyers, across all fields of practice, in Southern California. Kristen Hirashima was recognized as a Rising Star for the fifth consecutive year.
Super Lawyers is a multi-phase, legal selection process combined of independent research and peer evaluation to recognize the nation’s top attorneys from a variety of practice areas and firm sizes. Attorney selectees are made on an annual, state-by-state basis through an impartial third-party rating system.
The Super Lawyers list selects the top 5% of attorneys of a given state who “have attained high peer recognition, meet ethical standards, and have demonstrated some degree of achievement in their field.” The research driven nomination and selection process evaluates each candidate on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievements including, but not limited to, special licenses/certifications, education, experience, scholarly lectures/writings, and other outstanding achievements.
Super Lawyers also recognizes 2.5% of eligible attorneys as Rising Stars. To obtain recognition as a Rising Star, attorneys undergo the same selection process as Super Lawyers. However, attorneys are only eligible for a Rising Stars designation if they are 40 years or younger or have been in practice for ten years or less.
David Shebby has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a top-rated family law attorney for 14 consecutive years. Kristen Hirashima has been recognized as a Rising Star each year since 2020.
